Therusticfarmhouse has beentransformed into an enchanting mountain hideaway full of charm and understated luxury and decorated with beautiful vintage pieces throughout. Dogs very welcome.

Enjoy amazing views of the snow-capped mountains from the hot tubor curl up with a favourite book by the cosy log burner or firepit. The farmhouse maintains many original features, yet the property is extremely comfortable, offering super king sized beds each with luxury v-spring mattresses and each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom (the master with a roll top bath). There are two double bedrooms, the second of which has an additional sofa bed.There is underfloor heating, electric heaters, aseparate loo for guests on the ground floor, high speed 5G internet and a large flat screen TV in the master bedroom. There is a fully equipped kitchen and awashing machine/ tumble dryer anddishwasher.

Younger children may be accommodated, but please mention this before your stay and be aware that there are very steep steps which may be problematic for young children or the elderly.

Toiletries, linen and towels provided.

The property has its own private entrance and small garden. The parking area is a short walk from the house and has an electric charging point. A car is highly recommended.

Please note: when using the free standing bath in the master bedroom, you cannot fill the bath to the top, as it will be too heavy for the floor. Please fill to the marker. There is also a shower in the second bedroom; please note - this is an OPEN SHOWER and has no glass. Please also be aware that this is a 120 very old house with lots of wood and wood panels. The house is thoroughly cleaned after each stay, but cannot avoid small dust and occasional insects from outside, due to the altitude.

The property has its own private entrance and small garden. The parking area is a short walk from the house. A car is highly recommended. Les Maisionnettes is very quiet and safe with only 5 houses. The nearest coffee shops, cinema, farmers market etc are 10mins by car in the pretty town of Bourg Saint Maurice.

AREA:

You are spoilt for choice for skiing and adventure. The house is less than 10 minutes drive to the Fenicular in Bourg Saint Maurice which takes you direct to Les Arcs. There are also regular coaches and buses to Tignes La Plagne and Sainte Foy.

During the winter months there is a direct train link from London, on Eurostar. The delightful Arc en Ciel (rainbow) funicular railway line links Bourg Saint Maurice to the 4 villages of the nearby Les Arcs and their ski resorts. Buses and taxis are also available for these short journeys.

In the summer there are a great choice of walks, treks and cycle routes on your doorstep.
